Aurora QuickCare Kid’s Day on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Pere Marquette Park. At Kid’s Day, the park will come alive with song, dance, workshops, and events and activities for children of all ages. Look for music and comedy with Kenny Ahern, dancing with Trinity Academy of Irish Dance and Elation Dance Theatre, fun and learning from Ronald McDonald, and workshops with Artsts Working in Education and First Stage Children’s Theater.
The marketplace in Pere Marquette Park is not–to–be–missed with specialty jewelry, contemporary works of art, unique clothing, unususal pottery and many one–of–a–kind treasures.
RiverScuplture! Sponsored by RBC Dain Rauscher, Milwaukee Sunrise Rotary and The Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Mary L. Nohl Fund. For the eleventh consecutive year, Milwaukee’s riverwalk will be graced with the presence of RiverSculpture. Several new artsts will present their unique sculptures in the year’s multi–piece exhibit, which will be on display from June through October at locations along the riverwalk from Wisconsin Avenue north to Juneau Avenue. RiverSculpture is generously presented by the Milwaukee RiverWalk District.
Music, Music, Music
Staged areas throughout the festival grounds will feature over 40 fabulous bands that will fill the night air with music and excitement at RiverSplash! 2008. Up and down the Milwaukee river it’s a mix of rock, pop, rhythm and blues, country, retro, jazz, calypso, funk and hip–hop — and it’s all at RiverSplash beginning at noon on Friday and ending late Saturday night, with bonus entertainment at The Harp Irish Pub on Sunday afternoon.
Spectacular Fireworks
Scheduled for 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night, the summer sky will explode in an extraordinary display of fireworks. This specacular pyrotechnics show will take place just over the river in Pere Marquette Park.

Over 30 different restaurants and food vendors located throughout the festival will offer everything from spicy ethnic dishes to popular picnic fare to luscious desserts. A detailed list of restaurants and food offerings is featured in this brochure.
